Capri has always been considered a cosmopolitan, luxury destination, with its boutique-lined lanes packed
with tourists and crowded beaches while Anacapri is a small town situated on the island of Capri,
surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and garden terraces overlooking the Mediterranean.
From Naples we'll arrive at Marina Grande, the port of Capri.
From there you can have a wonderful boat tour of the island (optional), that will let you admire the
wonderful the landscape of the island, with the natural arch,the amazing Faraglioni, the spectacular zig zig
street called via Krupp, Marina Piccola, just to mention a few of the highlights.
Once back at the harbor we'll take the private bus to Anacapri, where you have several options: visiting
Villa San Michele, the trip on the chairlift to the panoramic terrace, while visiting the picturesque streets
full of tiny, fashionable and typical shops.
After that, and an optional lunch break, we will go to Capri, the fashion side of the island, visiting the quiet
Garden of Augustus (optional) and after enjoying your leisure time there, we'll go back to the port and then
to Naples.
Herculaneum was submerged by about a 24 meters layer of mud and lava, that preserved the city, sealing
everything.
Wealthy Romans enjoyed their holidays in Herculaneum, in their sumptuous villas on the sea, and their
daily life was simply amazing.
Once in town, you'll walk on the original roads made of volcanic rocks.
We'll see shops on the streets with large vases built in a masonry counter: those are the Roman taverns,
where the people would stop for lunch.
We will find a thermal bath, where both men and women went for daily hygiene. you will explore houses,
and in particular, according to opening times, the house that contains the only example in the world of a
wooden door, carbonized. Beside many other examples of carbonized wood remains.
Not to forget the beautiful frescoes in the Temple of August,houses and on street walls.

The tour starts at the Cathedral of Naples and we will visit the Museum of the treasure of San Gennaro,
worldwide known for its precious and for the miracle of the blood of our Saint Protector, that liquefies
three times a year!
After the spark of the treasure, we will go on exploring the food of this old city, while still wandering on the
old streets of the historical center. You will have the most amazing choice of food you can ever desire, from
salty to sweet, along with a whatever drink you fancy.
Just to give you a few examples of our local street food: you can choose between a delicious cuoppo, a
paper container full of tasteful deep fried food (vegetarian option available), the unusual flavor of the deep
fried pizza or the famous pizza a portafoglio. Not to forget the amazing frittata di maccheroni or rice balls
and croquettes.
Do you have a sweet tooth? In this case you will have to choose between a huge variety of pastries, like
sfogliatella, baba au rum, pastiera and many others, accompanied by a tasteful and strong Neapolitan
coffee.

Once in the old town, you will have a lot to explore, according to your interests and mood.
The tour starts from the famous 'Spaccanapoli', the animated street where you will discover some beautiful
churches, lively people, craftsmanship. You will find great examples of ancient architecture mixed up with
more modern buildings, houses or shops.
Not to miss the area of San Gregorio, the "Christmas Alley" where you will find the most amazing items for
the decoration of the Nativity during Christmas Time.
You can also take the opportunity to try some local, traditional food, in order to experience the
multifaceted sides of one of most amazing cities in Italy.
The ruins of Pompeii offer a great insight on the daily life in the Roman society in all its aspects.
Once in the old city, you'll walk on the original roads made of volcanic rocks. Together we will explore the
streets of Pompeii: you'll see several shops, like bakeries, the Roman taverns, where many ancient
Pompeians would stop for lunch. You will see private houses as well as public buildings, like theaters.
Not to miss the city center, called Forum, that hosts temples, the market, offices. You will also see
examples of the famous and always fascinating human casts.
After the tour, you could stop for a refreshment and/or souvenirs shops

We'll uncover the marvelous city of Sorrento, perched on a natural balcony of tuff stone, overlooking the
bay of Naples!
Houses immersed in luxuriant green and surrounded by groves of olive, lemons and orange trees, that
softly pour down the slopes towards the sea, roads that follow the coastline, opening up breathtaking
views on the bay of Naples, Vesuvio and Capri.
This charming town holds on to its medieval memories, while preserving also Renaissance and Baroque
architecture besides the ancient craft of inlay wood. Indeed we will uncover the magic of this city famous
for the sirens, its lively old market street, the beautiful bell tower and the so called sedil dominova and you
will enjoy the breathtaking view from the garden of Sorrento.
Optional: the visit of a farm with tasting of typical products, eventually to pay on the spot but needs
booking.
The Amalfi drive offers a stunning scenery, with mighty cliffs that drop into the sea, rich of bays and coves.
We'll stop for photos, so you can capture the most beautiful moments of your drive.
First stop: Positano, a charming village set into the mountains. From the sea, it looks like a huge nativity
scene. You'll walk through the narrow streets, full of houses painted in pastel colors, lined with boutiques
until the main place, with the lovely small church and an amazing view of the beach and the sea.
Then, drive over Furore,and Conca dei Marini set on a fjord wedged between cliffs and vines, besides the
emerald grotto.
Finally Amalfi, the heart of the divine coast. The main place is dominated by its stunning Duomo. Here,
history links with impressive natural beauty
